Seminar on Dengue Awareness at BUBT

Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT) organized a seminar on ‘Dengue Protirodhe Sochetonotamulok Sobha’ (Dengue Awareness Programme) at the hall room of the Permanent Campus, Mirpur in the capital on 4 September.

Lieutenant General Dr AKM Zafrullah Siddiq (retd), convener, Administrative and Security Advisory Committee and member, BUBT Trust spoke at the programme as the chief guest. Dr Rizwanul Ahsan, assistant professor, Dhaka Shishu Hospital spoke on clinical aspect on Dengue, while Dr Mahmuda Ali, assistant health officer, Zone-2, Dhaka North City Corporation spoke on source reduction of aedes mosquitos as the special guests.

Professor Md Enayet Hossain Miah, treasurer, BUBT presided over the seminar.

Dr Kazi Noor-ul Ferdous, associate professor, Dhaka Shishu Hospital, and convener, Health and Safety Advisory Committee of BUBT and member, BUBT Trust coordinated the programme. Professor Mian Lutfar Rahman, advisor, Students’ Affairs, BUBT was also present.

Deans of all faculties, registrar, controller of exams, chairmen of different departments, joint registrar, proctor, officials, faculties and students attended the programme.
