The 14th death anniversary of prominent playwright and theatre artiste ‘Natyacharya’ Selim Al Deen was observed at Jahangirnagar University (JU) campus on Friday with a daylong programme. JU Drama and Dramatics department organized the programme.

Professor Rashid Haroon, Professor Esrafil Ahmed, associate Professor Suma Mumtaj, assistant professor Mohibur Rouf Shaibal were present at the event among others. Besides, the department streamed Syed Shamsul Haq’s ‘Jolpoloker Gaan’ at the university’s Zahir Raihan Auditorium in the evening.
