Rawnak Hasan is basically an actor. Occasionally, he makes dramas. This time, the artiste made a documentary film titled ‘Amar Desh Sampritir Bangladesh’.
The inaugural screening of this film was held on the premises of Central Shaheed Minar in the capital at the Victory Festival organised by Sammilita Sangskritik Jote (SSJ).
Rawnak Hasan said, “The 40-minute film has highlighted the contribution, role and necessity of cultural development of cultural workers in the construction of non-communal Bangladesh from 1952 to the present time.
It’s not just a documentary; it’s more than a movie. Here lies the motivational space of cultural movement.”
Actors Azizul Hakim, Ahsan Habib Nasim, Rawnak Hasan, Tanjika Amin, Imtiaz Barshon, Nawrin Hasan Jeny, Joyita Mohalnabish, Rkib Hasan Ivan and others have played different roles in the project.
