A schoolgirl was allegedly raped by a young man at Gourighona village in Keshabpur Upazila of Jashore district. Laily Bagum, the victim’s elder sister, filed a case against three people on Tuesday night.
According to the case statement, Rubel Hossain, son of Samsul Morol of the village, forcibly entered the house of the victim who is the student of Class-VIII of Vadropolli High School around 9 pm on Monday and raped her.
Hearing her screams., locals rushed to the spot and caught Rubel while trying to flee the scene. On information Rubel’s brother Abdul Khalek and two others associates went to the victim’s house and attacked there, leaving the victim’s father and sister seriously injured and snatched him.
Victim’s father Ajab Ali was admitted to Keshabpur Upazila Helath Complex.
Keshabpur Police Station Officer-in-Charge Mohammad Abu Sayed said the victim was sent to Jashore Medical College Hospital for medical examination and police try to arrest the accused.
