A class six student aged around14 has been gang-raped at Sultanpur village under Chaugachha upazila of Jashore district on Thursday night. Chougachha Police Station OC Saiful Islam Sabuj confirmed the incident.
The mother of the student has filed a case against the rapists at Chaugachha police station.Police arrested two accused rapists at around one o'clock on Friday early after the case.
The arrested were Sohag Hossain, 25, son of Shahjahan of Sultanpur village in Hakimpur union of the upazila and Biplob Hossain, 23, son of Bitul Hossain of the same village.
According to the case, Sohag Hossain and Biplob Hossain abducted the victim on the way to her uncle's house. She was later taken to a nearby orchard and raped in turn.
The victim's mother alleging said, “My daughter is studying in class six in a secondary school of the upazila.
On her way to school, Sohag, a married man and father of one child, used to give her all kinds of bad proposal.”
He was angry with my daughter for not agree to his proposal and was threatening her in various ways. In this reason, Sohag and Biplob abducted and forcibly raped her. We rescued her from the orchard when she was not returning home. Later a case was filed against the rapists.
