Schoolgirl donates Eid greetings’ money to Covid-19 fund

Fatema Rahman Ruponti, a class six student of Adarsho Girls' School of Faridpur, has donated Taka 4,000 to the fund of Deputy Commissioner for Coronavirus treatment of poor and helpless patients of the district. 

It is learnt, by not receiving her new dress during the Eid-ul-Fitr and the money she received as gifts during the Eid, Fatema handed over the money to Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Faridpur Atul Sarker of Faridpur for welfare of poor Coronavirus patients at later's office on Sunday. 

Her mother Nasrin Akhter, sisiter Ayesha Rahman, brother Rafi Rahman, her maternal uncle and Correspondent of Bangaldesh Post SM Moniruzzaman were present at the office of Deputy Commissioner during handing over the fund. 

Rupanti is hailed from Tepakhola Beparipara area of the town, her father Abdur Rahman works with a company in Dhaka.   Deputy Commissioner Atul Sarker thanked Ruponti for her humanitarian donation.
