Only a piece of football brought joy and happiness on the faces of a number of children at Uttar Bhutiargati village of Jhenaidah sadar upazila when Bangabandhu Sainik League, Jhenaidah district unit general secretary Abdul Mannan Rana handed over the same to them. The ball was handed over at the playground of the village on Monday afternoon.
Abdul Mannan Rana, Bangabandhu Sainik League Jhenaidah district unit general secretary, also a reputed businessman in the town said the children of the locality were feeling the need for a football for a long time. They could not manage it from the local leaders. Having the information, he along with organization’s sadar upazila unit general secretary Tarek Dad Reza handed over a ball as they were desiring.
When contacted the children having the football said there were speechless as it was a long-cherished desire and need for them. The ball will help them in practicing the same for local and institution level competition in near and far future.
