SCF submits memo to PM

Samajtantrik Chhatra Front (SCF) Jhenidah district unit on Tuesday morning had submitted a memorandum to the deputy commissioner in Jhenidah addressing the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

Deputy Commissioner (DC) Saroj Kumar Nath received the memorandum along with mass signature for pressing home the six-point demand of the students’ front at his office. 

The six point demands among others were wave students from tuition fees of during covid 19 pandemic, allocate government money for mess rent, waive single semester fees of the private university students, not to continue online class and examinations except adequate preparations, allocate fund for device procurement, ensure salary f the private university teachers from government fund, introduce health cards for the students, check corruption in government sectors etc.

Samajtantrik Chhatra Front Jhenidah district unit general secretary Farzana Yasmin Rima said they had collected signature of about 1,2000 students moving at each and everybody’s home physically.

Rima along with other leaders Sharmin Sultana, organizing secretary Tanu Islam, publicity and publication secretary Rabbul Hossain, finance secretary MA Samad and member Zannatul Ferdous among others present during the memorandum submission event.

They expected that the prime Minster with her patience will consider the demand of the students’ front leader for a better educational environment when the country was witnessing global pandemic corona virus for last eight months.
