SC not sitting on Monday in honor of Attorney General

Chief Justice Syed Mahmud Hossain told a virtual bench of the Appellate Division that the Supreme Court would not sit on Monday (September 28th) in honor of the death of senior lawyer and Attorney General Mahbubey Alam.
Judgments in both divisions of the Supreme Court will not be conducted on Monday (September 28).
The Chief Justice said that we are distressed. The Supreme Court is not sitting today in honor of the Attorney General.
Additional Attorney General Murad Reza, Barrister Ruhul Quddus Kajal, Secretary of the Supreme Court Bar Association and other lawyers were virtually involved at the time.
 Earlier on Sunday (September 27) at 7:25 pm, Mahbubey Alam breathed his last.
On Thursday night, September 3, the Attorney General felt feverish. On Friday (September 4) morning, when he was tested for Corona, the report came back positive. On the same day, he was admitted to CMH on the instructions of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Although his corona was negative on September 20, his physical condition did not improve.
