Mostofa Sarwar Farooki's film "Saturday Afternoon" will hit the theatre across North America on March 10, after negotiations.
The distribution rights of the film have been acquired by Continental Entertainment Pte. Ltd. and it will be released through Reliance Entertainment.
The film is based on the terrorist attack at Dhaka's Holey Artisan Bakery in 2016.
The film has received international acclaim and features actors such as Nusrat Imrose Tisha, Zahid Hasan, Mamunur Rashid, and Parambrata Chatterjee. The movie will be shown in 71 theaters across the US and Canada, including in Toronto, Ottawa, Arizona, and California.
