A few days ago, the long-time drama directed by Salahuddin Lavlu titled ‘Priyo Din Priyo Rat’. Soon he is going to start making a new 26-episode drama titled ‘The Director’. He will play the title role himself.
Kazi Shahedul Islam wrote the drama which will be created to be aired on Channel-i.
Salahuddin Lavlu said, “Frankly, with the help of a director, artists become stars. By becoming a star, most of us forget about the past. Now it seems that the drama is being made with only two or three artistes. All such things are the main subject of the drama ‘The Director’. Kazi Shahedul Islam has excellently addressed these issues in the drama. In addition to the things that I have highlighted, there will be more to the story. And I wanted to work with an artist for 25 days at a stretch. But since I couldn't find an artist to deliver the schedule for the last twenty-five days, I thought playing the role myself. I believe I can gift a drama series to the minds of the viewers.”
Salahuddin Lavlu said shooting for this new drama series will be in Srimangal from March 2.
Meanwhile, Salahuddin Lavlu is trying to devote a lot of time to acting. In the meantime, he finished the drama 'Khoka Babu' under the direction of Azad Kalam. He also played the title role in this drama. Urmila Srabonti has acted opposite him.
