The admission test for the first year BSC engineering courses under academic session 2019-20 at Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (RUET) will be held on Thursday (October 24). A total of 9,060 students in two groups of the entry test will appear against 1,235 seats this year under 14 departments of three faculties.
Of those, in ‘KA’ group scheduled to be held from 9 am to 11 am, 8,280 students will take part while 780 others in ‘KHA’ group 9 am to 12:10 noon. However, the intake test’s result will be published on November 4 (Monday). Meanwhile, the RUET authority has taken adequate measures for completion of the test peacefully.
RUET vice chancellor professor Rafiqul Islam Sheikh revealed this in a press conference held at its office conference hall on Tuesday ahead of the test. On the occasion, admission committee president professor Mosharraf Hossain, registrar professor Selim Hossain and student welfare director professor Rabiul Awal, among others, were present.
Professor Rafiqul Sheikh said that none students will be allowed to enter into the examination hall without bring up with two copies of admit card along with the main registration card of HSC exam along with its photocopy.
