The Institute of Education and Research (IER) at Rajshahi University )RU) has invited applications for admission to its one-year Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDEd) programme for the July 2025–June 2026 session. This program is equivalent to the Bachelor of Education (BEd) degree.
According to the university authorities, the PGDEd programme will be conducted over two semesters. Interested candidates must have at least a second division or a minimum GPA/CGPA of 2.50 in SSC, HSC, and Bachelor's (Pass/Honours) examinations. Applicants who passed O Level and A Level must have a minimum C grade in at least three subjects. Students awaiting the final result of their Honours degree are also eligible to apply.
Candidates with a minimum of five years of teaching experience at the secondary or higher secondary level will receive a waiver for any one of the academic qualification requirements mentioned above.
Applicants can collect the admission form by depositing a non-refundable fee of BDT 1,000 in cash at the Institute of Education and Research office at Rajshahi University. The deadline for collecting admission forms is May 25, 2025.
The completed admission form, along with two attested passport-sized photographs, attested copies of all academic certificates and mark sheets, must be submitted by May 26, 2025, during office hours. The date and time of the admission interview will be announced later.
A total of 50 seats are available for this academic session. Interested candidates have been requested to complete their application process within the stipulated time.
