Classes of the first year honours courses for the academic sessions 2019-20 of Rajshahi University began on Tuesday.
The university’s all departments organized an orientation programme for the freshers.
According to the university authorities’ sources, the admission process began on 21-22 October. A total of 78,090 students have competed against 4,713 seats under the three units. The admission process ended on 20 January.
RU proctor professor Lutfar Rahman said, RU authorities already prohibited ragging in the campus adding that studentship has been cancelled who will be convicted in ragging.
Meanwhile, RU unit Bangaldesh Chhatra League (BCL) has brought out a joyous procession welcoming the all freshers.
