Police arrested a robber with 17 country-made arms and huge lethal weapons from Shamsu Tila area of East Raozan under Raozan upazila of Chattogram district early on Wednesday, reports BSS.
The arrested was identified as Mohammad Alamgir alias Alam.
On a tip-off, a team of police conducted a raid in the area at about 4 am and arrested Alamgir with the arms and weapons, said Kefayetullah, Officer-in-Charge of Raozan police station.
Different cases were pending with different police stations against Alamgir.
