Road dev projects start in Banshkhali

Kotpara-Bagmara-Haliyapara road repair work has been inaugurated at a cost of Taka 1 crore 42 lakh in Kathria Union of Banshkhali Upazila in Chattogram. 

Kathria Union Parishad Chairman Md. Shahjahan Chowdhury was present as the chief guest at the inauguration of road repair work on Friday. Upazila Engineer Kazi Fahad Bin Mahmud, Secretary of Kathria Union Parishad Pankaj Dutta, Abdul Matlab Kalu, Deepak Dutta, Md. Hamid, Md. Manzur, UP member Anshar and UP member Kamal were present. 

Kathria Chairman Shahjahan Chowdhury said, ‘Renovation of Kotpara-Bagmara-Haliyapara road was a long standing demand of the people.

Its fulfil the demand of the people, the renovation work of this road has been inaugurated at a cost of 1 crore 42 lakh. The country has come a long way in terms of development during the tenure of the present government. In continuation of that development, due to the dedicated efforts of Alhaj Mostafizur Rahman Chowdhury, Member of Parliament for Banshkhali, a lot of development activities are going on in Banshkhali today. Banskhali's road development will increase communication and work prosperity. Every road, culvert and various infrastructures of Katharia Union will be repaired in phases.
