Two persons were killed in a road accident in Mollickpur area of Sadar upazila in the district on Monday night.
The deceased were identified as homeopathy doctor Subrata Kumar Das, 36, and microbus driver Monir Hossain Monju, 39.
Abudullah Al Mamun, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Karimpur Highway said the accident took place when a passenger bus of 'Diganto Paribahan' coming from Dhaka collided head on with a microbus near Mollickpur of Kanaipur union around 8 pm.

The accident left two dead on the spot and two others wounded seriously.
The injured persons were admitted to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical College Hospital in Faridpur.
