Garment workers on Friday staged demonstrations demanding payment of salary and bonus before the Eidul-Adha. Hundreds of workers and their leaders gathered at Tin Sarak Mor and blocked Dhaka-Joydebpurroad demanding payment of eid bonus and salary ofthe current month since morning.
Police, workers and locals said the workers of Style Craft Ltd vandalized glasses and furniture in the morning, demanding arrears of wages and Eid bonus. Later, they staged demonstration, blocking Dhaka-Jaydebpur road.
