A Readymade garments factory worker was hacked to death by an unknown criminal gang at Masdair Pakapul area under Fatulla police station on Friday night.
The deceased was identified as Amanullah, 17, son of Jobber Mia, permanent resident of Rator village under Ranisongkor police station in Thakurgaon district. Amanullah and his mother Jaibunnesa lived at Awal Mia’s house in the Masdair area as a tenant and they both worked in a readymade garments factory.
On Friday night, when Amanullah was returning to his tenant residence a group of unidentified miscreants stabbed Amnullah with a sharp weapon.
Locals rescued injured Amanullah sent to Narayanganj General (Victoria) hospital where an attending physician referred Amanullah to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH). After reaching Dhaka Medical College Hospital the on duty doctor of the emergency department declared Amanullah as dead.
Officer in charge Fatulla model police station Rokibuzzaman admitted the incident and said that all efforts were engaged to capture the criminal though any criminal case has not recorded yet.
