Police recovered the body of rickshaw-puller from a footpath in front of Bangladesh Bank (BB) in the capital's Motijheel area on Thursday noon. Motijheel Police Station SI Jahirul Islam said Being informed, a team of police went to the spot and rescued the man, aged about 45.
He was taken to the emergency department of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) where doctor declared him dead. The body has been kept at the hospital morgue.
Primarily suspect that the man was died from heatstroke, police added.
