The reunion of students of HSC batch of 1976 of Rajshahi College was held at ‘Simante Nongor’ beside the river Padma on Saturday.
Presided over by former banker Abdul Hye, the function was attended, among others, by Professor Shirin Sufia Khanam, former Chairman of Rajshahi Education Board as the chief guest, Banker Mijanur Rahman, businessman Akhter A. Farooqui, Banker Mohammad Murtoza, Dr. Sukumar Sur Roy, Engineer Hasina Dilruba, Engineer Nazrul Islam, Banker Asikur Rahman Liton, Banker Abdur Razzak, Businessman Syed Murtuza Ali, Dr. Abdul Khaleque, Dr. Anwarul Kadir, Dr. Sarwar Jahan, Social Service Officer Rubina Yeasmin, former BRDB Officer Hosneara Begum and Journalist SarkerShariful Islam.
Wives and children of the '76 batch mates also attended the function. After the end of the function, a cultural soiree enthralled the audiences
