Amirul Arham, a Bangladeshi filmmaker and poet based in France, paid a courtesy call on Chittagong University Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Shirin Akhtar at the Vice-Chancellor's office on Tuesday morning.
CU Pro Vice-Chancellor (Academic) Prof. Benu Kumar Dey, Dean of CU Science Faculty Prof. Dr. Mohammad Nasim Hasan, Dean of Engineering Faculty Prof. Dr. Rashed Mostafa, Registrar (Acting) Prof. SM Monirul Hasan, Director of Nazrul Research Center Prof. Dr. Mohammad Anwar Saeed, CU Proctor Dr. Rabiul Hasan Bhuiyan, Assistant Proctors were present.
CU VC said that the efforts made by the renowned filmmaker to brighten the image of the country on foreign soil are highly commendable. She urged the filmmaker to continue his activities.
