Bimla Foundation distributed relief goods to 250 poor families in Patharghata area of Chattogram city on Saturday. Mayor of Chittogram City Corporation Mayor AJM Nasir Uddin distributed the reliefs.
Mayor Nasir urged the city dwellers to stay homes to avoid contracting the coronavirus. If the rich along with the government stand beside the poor no one will go hungry in the port city area during the crisis, he added.
Bimala Foundation Chairman Gopal Das Tipu, Awami League’s Patharghata Ward unit Convenor Abu Afsar Chowdhury, former councilors Jalal Uddin Iqbal, Fazle Elahi Babul, and Subhash Das Rupon were present on the occasion.
