The Bangladesh Red Crescent Society will distribute humanitarian aid to the forcibly displaced Myanmar citizens from Myanmar's Rakhine State living in a newly built shelter in Bhasanchar, Noakhali.
In the first phase, hygiene kits, dignity kits, washing mats, coils and water jerry cans will be distributed among 500 families (per family) as humanitarian assistance.
A nine-member high-level delegation led by the Chairman of Bangladesh Red Crescent Society left for Bhasanchar to participate in the on-the-spot inspection and relief distribution activities on Monday.
The relief materials will be distributed on Tuesday.

Habibe Millat, MP, Member of Governing Board of IFRC Lutfur Rahman Chowdhury Helal, Treasurer and Member of Managing Board Advocate Shihab Uddin Shahin, Dr. Sheikh Shafiul Azam, Secretary General of the Society Md. Feroz Salah Uddin, Deputy Secretary General Md. Rafiqul Islam and Director of Disaster Response Department of Bangladesh Red Crescent Society Md. Mizanur Rahman will be present.
