Members of Joypurhat Red Crescent Unit distributed blankets among the cold-hit people at a function at Red Crescent Unit building in Joypurhat on Monday morning.
A total of 400 pieces of sheet and 200 pieces of blanket were distributed among the distress people during this time.
At that time, Chairman of Joypurhat Red Crescent Unit and Zila Parishad Arifur Rahman Rocket, secretary of Joypurhat Red Crescent Unit Golam Hakkani along with other members and local distinguished guests were also present.
Secretary of Joypurhat Red Crescent Unit Golam Hakkani said poor and distress people are very happy after getting warm clothes amid biting cold.
