Ray Fisher offers new criticism towards Joss Whedon's delayed ‘Justice League’ defense statement in regards to allegations of a toxic set. Fisher made his DC Extended Universe debut as Victor Stone/Cyborg with a cameo in ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’ before getting his proper introduction and screen time in ‘Justice League’. Despite initially being directed by co-writer Zack Snyder for the majority of the team-up movie's production, things would begin to get rocky when Snyder stepped down due to his daughter's suicide and creative differences with Warner Bros. over the vision of the film.

The studio would elect to bring in The Avengers' Joss Whedon to get Justice League back on track, giving him freedom to rewrite and reshoot a large portion of the film. Hitting theaters in 2017, it would see a polarized response from critics and audiences alike and bomb at the box office, only pulling in $657 million against a reported break-even point of $750 million, with many Snyder fans creating a new movement to push the studio to allow the filmmaker to restore his original vision for the title. Justice League would later come under fire as Fisher and his co-stars reported claims of abuse, harassment and toxic behavior from Whedon during the time of reshoots and the situation was recently reignited as Whedon partook in an interview defending his side of the situation.

After his initial response promising to come back to the matter, Ray Fisher has taken to Twitter to share his thoughts on Joss Whedon's delayed Justice League defense interview. The star criticised the filmmaker for taking this long to respond to the various allegations leveled against him and further criticised the statements Whedon made in his interview in an effort to defend himself.
