Ramu Cantonment stands by helpless patients

The 10th Infantry Division of the Bangladesh Army has provided free medical assistance to distressed and helpless patients during this critical period of the Corona situation. 

On Ukhia Degree College ground in Cox's Bazar district on Tuesday morning, 410 patients were treated by specialist doctors at the day-to-day medical camp following social distance and hygiene rules. 

Patients receiving medical treatment are also provided free medicine by the Army. A team of specialist doctors comprising CMH Ramu and field ambulance specialists participated in this medical service activity. 

In the ongoing lockdown situation, local patients are facing a lot of problems to get the desired medical services. This medical assistance of the Coronation Army will play a very helpful role in providing health services to the local patients as well as in dealing with the disaster. Such public service activities of the army have gained wide popularity among the local poor and helpless people.

During this calamity of Corona virus, 10 infantry divisions of Bangladesh Army i.e. Ramu Cantonment and its subordinate cantonments have been conducting various public welfare activities including distribution of relief in different upazilas of Cox's Bazar and Chittagong districts. Following this, the 10th Infantry Division of the Bangladesh Army will conduct similar medical campaigns in other upazilas of Cox's Bazar district in the future.
