Rajshahi Krishi Unnayan Bank (RAKUB) earned the first ever ISO (international Organisation Standardization) 27001:2013 Certificate among all state owned specialised banks of the country.
The handing over function of the ISO 27001:2013 Certificate was held at the Hall Room of RAKUB Headquarter in Rajshahi on Thursday (19 Jan) afternoon. Presided over by Zahidul Haque, Managing Director of RAKUB, the function was attended, among others, by Raisul Alam Mondal, Chairman of RAKUB Board of Directors and former Senior Secretary as the chief guest.
RAKUB Chairman Raisul Alam Mondal and Managing Director of RAKUB Zahidul Haque received the ISO Certificate from CEO of the Consultant organisation Enterprise InfoSec Consultants(EIC) Mashiul Islam at the function.
After receving the ISO Certificate Chairman of RAKUB Raisul Alam Mondal siad, RAKUB was the only specialised bank having its headquarters outside the capital achieved the ISO Certification which is undoubtedly a milestone for the bank. He thanked and expressed his gratitude to all the officials, employees and staff of RAKUB for their sincere effort to achieve the honour.
Among others, the function was, attended and addressed by Deputy Managing Director of RAKUB Kazi Abdur Rahman, General Manager (Operation) of RAKUB Maksuda Nasrin, Gen Manager ( Admin) Shaokat Shahidul Islam, Gen Manager( Rajshahi div) Atiqul Islam and Deputy General Manager( Information and Communication Technology) Abul Kalam.
