Detective Branch (DB) of police detained an accused with illegal arms and yaba tablets in Rajbari on Monday night.The detainee as identified as Shajahan Saju, son of Mostafiz Mia of Brichatra village under Banibaha union of Sadar upazila.
Police said, Saju was detained from a satellite school of Pachuria union under Sadar upazila. At that time police seized a local made gun and 160 pieces of yaba tablets from his possession.
Two cases were filed against him with the local police station in this connection. He is accused in ten more cases. Arrest warrants were issued against him in several cases.
