Meherpur's Mujibnagar is gearing up to witness the sale of its famed 'Rajababu', a timid bull that weighs no less than 2.5 tons.

Ahead of Eid-ul-Azha, it will fetch at least Tk40 lakh, according to locals.

The big bull is drawing the attention of many people due to its size and price. Hundreds of local people are flocking to see the big RajaBabu.

The District Livestock Officer claims that it is the biggest Bull of Khulna division.

Rajababu belongs to Insan Ali, a dairy farmer of Monakhali village  in Meherpur Mujibnagar Upazila, who is witnessing a surge of inquisitive visitors, all hoping to get a glimpse of the more-than-healthy behemoth.

Insan Ali bought Rajababu four years ago for only 85 thousand taka.

Since then he has nurtured Rajababu like his own child.

This time RajaBabu's weight has increased to over 2.5 Ton. The height is about 8 feet. The cost of this Friesian breed Bull is about two thousand taka per day.  In hot weather, he is bathed 3-4 times a day. From a distance, it looks like an elephant is standing.

This black colored Bull is expected to sell for 35 to 40 lakh taka.

Farmer Insan Ali hopes that the country will gain the reputation of the best Bull in the market.

Insan Ali said cows are being fattened in almost every house around Qurbani Eid. Rajababu is the most interesting among them.

Local residents say that it is the biggest Bull in the region. Many people say that if the tickle is attached, it will look like an elephant is standing from a distance.

Meherpur District Livestock Officer, Saidur Rahman said that Rajababu's daily necessary care and overall support is being provided by the District Animal Resources Department. This official claims that Rajababu is the biggest cow in Khulna Division.
