Rain likely in four divisions

Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at few places of four divisions of the country, according to the forecast of the Meteorological Department.   

In its forecast for the next 24 hours from Friday morning, the weather department said that the sky may remain partly cloudy in some parts of the country. 

On the other hand, mild heat wave is sweeping over many parts of the country including Gopalganj, Rangamati, Chandpur, Moulvibazar, Rajshahi, Barisal and Patuakhali districts and it may continue.

It was mentioned in the forecast that the maximum temperature in Dhaka might be 35 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature might be 28.1 degrees Celsius in the next 24 hours. The maximum temperature in Chattogram might reach 33.4 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 27.2 degrees Celsius, in Sylhet a maximum of 35.5 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 26.6 degrees Celsius, in Rajshahi a maximum of 36.8 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 27.1 degrees Celsius, in Mymensingh a maximum of 34 Celsius and a minimum of 27 degrees Celsius, in Rangpur maximum of 31.3 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 25 degrees Celsius, in Khulna a maximum 37 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 28 degrees Celsius and the temperature in Barisal might reach a maximum of 36 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 26 degrees Celsius.

The increase in western light pressure was located in West Bengal and adjoining areas in the foothills of the Himalayas on Friday. The normal light pressure of the season was located in the South Bay.

The Meteorological Department said that the day and night temperatures across the country could remain almost unchanged during this period.
