Railway police start public awareness campaign

Chattogram Railway Police has started public awareness bit policing activities with school students with the aim of creating public awareness on throwing stones at moving trains, rail crossings and railway line crossings.

Feni Railway Police Outpost stopped throwing stones in a moving train at Cambrian School near Salauddin Junction Baripur Railway gate bit policing activities are conducted under the direction of Chattogram Railway Police Superintendent Mohammad Hasan Chowdhury on Monday.

 Railway Superintendent of Police Mohammad Hasan Chowdhury said a bit of public awareness bit policing was being conducted with school students, teachers and members of the school management committee to stop throwing stones at moving trains, prevent drug addiction and create public awareness at rail crossings and railway crossings.  We will continue this activity.

 The students were asked not to throw stones at the moving train while crossing the railway line and using the foot over bridge.  

Also informed about the evils, horrors and legal offenses of stoning, punishment of stoning and horrors of drug use.

  Fauzdarhat Railway Police Outpost has been working with the school students, teachers and school management committee members to stop stone pelting on the moving train at Shah Jahania Kindergarten School adjacent to Bhatiary Railway Station, to prevent drug abuse and to create public awareness at rail crossings and railway crossings.

 Feni Railway Police Outpost conducted bit policing activities at Fatehpur Government Primary School adjacent to the railway line and Sitakunda Railway Police Outpost conducted Barobkunda Government Primary School.

 At that time, everyone present was asked to cooperate in stopping the throwing of stones on the train.
