Railway Police’s beat policing to raise awareness

Chattogram Railway Police has conducted awareness programs to warn against unconsciousness and deceiver parties in train travel, stone pelting on moving trains and traveling on roofs, carrying narcotics, stop ticket black market and warn against train travel.

 The work of this program has been started from Monday.  This activity was conducted at Chandpur Railway Station, Cumilla Railway Station, Choumuhani Railway Station, Sholoshahar Railway Station, Fauzdarhat Railway Station under the guidance of Railway Police Superintendent Mohammad Hasan Chowdhury.

 Superintendent of Railway Police Mohammad Hasan Chowdhury said that our regular activities are being conducted with the aim of making train journey comfortable and easy for the passengers.  Various measures have been taken by the Railway Police including prevention of stone pelting on moving trains, no eating from strangers, protection from the clutches of deceivers and unconscious parties.  As a part of this awareness, activities are going on in different areas and colonies.

 During this time speakers refrained from eating food, drink or anything offered by strangers to avoid unconscious party while traveling by train.  He urged to refrain from climbing on the roof, side and engine of the train in dangerous conditions, not to travel in the train without a ticket, to get on/off with caution after complete stop at the train station.

 Speakers said, keep your bags and valuables carefully, don't buy tickets from black marketers, keep an eye on the movement of people around you.  Railway Police should be informed if suspicious or carrying illegal goods.  Ticket black market, police to hand over stone pelting on moving trains.  Train windows should be closed to protect oneself from stone pelted by miscreants.  Train passengers standing on the platform every day are being advised by walking mikes not to eat anything from strangers during train journeys.

 Officials informed people living near railway stations and railway lines about the ill effects of stone pelting on trains.  The local children of the area and the students of schools and madrasas were given an idea about the dangers and dangers of stone pelting.  Also everyone is informed about the punishment for stone pelting.

 It was attended by local public representatives, RNB, railway officials, local school teachers, mosque imams and railway police members.

 Its mentioned that every day while standing on the platform, all train passengers are made to walk and mike to avoid eating anything from strangers during the train journey.
