Chattogram Railway Police has conducted public awareness bit policing activities to prevent stone pelting on moving trains, to be aware of ignorant parties and molam parties in train travel, to stop crossing railway crossings and railway lines, traveling on train tracks.
Public awareness bit policing meetings were held in south outer area of Cumilla railway station on train traveling molam, stop stone pelting on moving trains/traveling on train tracks, carrying drugs in trains, ticket black market, be careful about crossing rail lines and Laksam Railway Station OC Md Masud Alam presided over under the direction of Chattogram Railway Police Superintendent Mohammad Hasan Chowdhury on Sunday.
Superintendent of Police Mohammad Hasan Chowdhury said, public awareness beat policing activities have been conducted at various stations to stop stone pelting on moving trains, to prevent drug consumption and to create public awareness at railway crossings and railway line crossings.
People of the area adjacent to the station, various railway officials, employees, local shopkeepers, railway security forces and passengers waiting for the train arriving at the station were present in the meeting. All those present are requested to cross the railway lines and crossings on sight, use footover bridges and not throw stones at moving trains.
Also informed about the evils of stone pelting, horrors and legal offense of stone pelting, punishment of stone pelting and horrors of drug abuse. At that time, the cooperation of present was sought to stop stone pelting on the train.
Also every day while standing on the platform passengers of all trains are advised to not eat anything from strangers during the train journey by walking.
