The member of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB-11) in a raid at Dogairbazar under Demra police station in Dhaka on Saturday night arrested a fugitive wanted terrorist along with fire arms and ammunitions. The arrested was identified as Md. Delwar Hossain, 39, son of Md. Shahjahan, resident of Manikandi village under Muradnagar police station in Cumilla district. RAB recovered a foreign made pistol, seven round bullets, three round blank cartridges, 2 cell phones and a motorcycle from the detained possessions. Media officer of RAB Mohammad Rizwan Sayed Jiku inform the media and added that the arrested is wanted by several murder, arms and narcotics cases.
The other drive RAB arrested a truck driver, Rakibul Hasan Robin, 19 whose truck ran over a battery run auto-rickshaw carrying five passengers and all six were killed including auto-rickshaw driver Julhash Mia on February 18 at Mainamati area under Burichong police station in Cumilla district.
The commander Major Nasmus Sakib Of Crime Prevention Special Company-3 of RAB-11 confirmed the information to the media.
Burichong police station chief Alamgir Hossain said that killed auto rickshaw driver Julhash Mia’s son Shopon Mia earlier filed a murder case accusing unknown truck driver and the case has been investigating by the highway police.
