Sirajganj raided Shahjadpur along with fake money of 1.03 lakh. Ujjal Hossain (36) arrested a counterfeit money trader by members of Rapid Action Battalion RAB-12.
RAB-12 Lieutenant Commander Abdul Rahim confirmed this in a press release on Tuesday afternoon. The arrested Ujjal Hossain is the son of deceased Haider Ali of Dariapur village of Shahjadpur. According to the press release, he was arrested on Monday afternoon in Ward No. 3 area of the municipality on the basis of secret information. During this time, one lakh and three thousand fake Tk were recovered. Also, 2 mobile phones used for buying and selling fake money were seized from him. During the interrogation, it was revealed that fake money trader Ujjal Hossain had been buying and selling fake money in different areas of the district avoiding the eyes of the law enforcement agencies for a long time. A case has been filed against the arrested accused and handed over to Shahjadpur police station.
