RAB-7 arrested a young man named Shahid Ullah (35) along with 91 thousand pieces of Yaba tablets in Chattogram's Banshkhali. The estimated value of recovered drugs is Tk 3 crore. He has been handed over to the police station for legal action. The detained Shaheed Ullah is the son of deceased Syedul Islam of Minjirtala area of Saral Union Upazila. Last Friday evening, these yaba were recovered wrapped in plastic sack tape from the hole in the house of Saral Union Minjirtala area of the upazila.

RAB-7 Senior Assistant Director Md. Nurul Abchar said that for a long time, Md. Shahid Ullah has been collecting drugs from the border area of Cox's Bazar district and later selling them to drug dealers in Chattogram district and city in retail and wholesale. These narcotics were recovered from a hole in the ground of his living room wrapped in tape on a brick-like white polythene inside a plastic bag. He has been handed over to Banshkhali police station for further legal action.
