A team of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-11 conducted a drive on Friday and detained a drug peddler from Choudhury Bari area under Shiddhirganj police station in Narayanganj.
The arrestee was identified as Md. Sunny, 34, son of Md. Samsul Haq of Fazilpur area under Fatulla police station in the district. Additional police super of RAB-11 Md. Jasimuddin Choudhury said that on information, they detained him and recovered 110 pieces yaba pills from his possession. Arrested Sunny ran lone narcotics trading and bring yaba from Teknaf and sell in Naryanganj and Dhaka, RAB official also claimed.
A case in this connection was recorded with Shiddhirganj police station.
