He was identified as Emdadul Haque alias Uzzal Master.

RAB Legal and Media Wing Director Commander Khandaker Al Moin confirmed it. Getting secret information, a team of RAB team raided at a building near the Basila Bridge in Mohammadpur onearly Thursday. RAB members later arrested Emadul from his hideout in the building following the raid. He was taken to the RAB Headquarters for interrogation.

A pistol, bullets, two knives, a locally made bulletproof jacket, several jihadi books, and around Tk 300,000 in cash were seized from the scene. Chemicals and other materials used for making detonators were also found in Emadul's possession.

Quoting the security guard of the house, RAB officials said on September 2, two people introducing themselves   printing press businessmen came to rent the second floor flat. They also paid a deposit of Tk 5,000 as advance.

The raid was carried out on information gleaned from four militants arrested in Mymensingh on September 4.

According to the house’s security guard Mohiuddin, Emdadul introduced himself as the owner of a printing press. He also introduced his two associates as press workers.

Quoting Mohiuddin, RAB officials said Emdadul did not submitted a copy of his national ID.
