A young man named Sagar Mondal (24) was arrested with 46 Yaba tablets during an anti-drug operation by the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in Jibannagar, Chuadanga. The arrest took place on Sunday evening in Kashipur village under KDKE Union.
RAB-12, CPC-3, Meherpur Camp conducted the operation based on a tip-off. Sagar, son of Abdar Mondal of the same village, was apprehended on the spot.
Following the arrest, legal proceedings were initiated, and the accused was handed over to Jibannagar Police Station for further action.
