A discussion and prize distribution among the winners of a Hifzul Quran competition (Quran recitation competition) was held at the Shilpakala Academy in Sarishabari upazila of Jamalpur on Saturday afternoon.
Local MP and State Minister for Information Dr. Murad Hasan spoke and distributed the prizes as the chief guest. The event was held at the initiative of Upazila Ulama Parishad.
Hafez Maulana Abu Sufian, Founder Director of Sarisabari Reazul Jannah Mahila Madrasa presided over the programme while, Muhtamim and Shaykhul Hadith Allama Abdur Rahman Hafezji of Makhjanul Ulum Madrasa Taltola Mymensingh, Upazila Nirbahi Officer Shihab Uddin Ahmed, newly elected Mayor Monir Uddin and others attended.
At the end of the discussion meeting, the prizes were distributed among the winners of the Hifzul Quran competition.
