Amirul Islam Parvez, a police constable and son of a freedom fighter, was killed during continuing BNP and Jamaat programme in Dhaka by unruly persons on October 28, so Chuadanga Muktijodhdha Sontan Sangsad arranged a human chain and held a rally rally in protest against the killing and demanding punishment to killers near DC office gate in the town.
Freedom fighters’ son and members of the sangsad Masudur Rahman Masud, Sajahan Hossain, Bayezid Joarder, Ashraf, Boktiar Hossain, Kamrul Islam Rassel and Jakir Hossain addressed at the human chain programme. At the end of the human chain a procession paraded the main roads of the town.
A memorandum was submitted to the Deputy Commissioner including their demands.
