PUNAK distributes Eid gifts to children in Munshiganj

Police Women's Welfare Association (PUNAK) distributed Eid gifts to young children in Munshiganj district. Quran recitation, iftar and prayer were held with orphans and young children at Munshiganj District Police Lines on Wednesday. Hundreds of students from different madrasas of the district participated in it. Later, Eid gifts were distributed among 120 children students on behalf of Munshiganj Punak.

Superintendent of Police of Munshiganj district Mohammad Mahfuzur Rahman Al-Mamun BPM, PPM presented Eid gifts as the chief guest at the event.

In the chief guest's speech at the event, the Superintendent of Police said, "Punak is a service institution. We have always been working for the welfare of helpless, distressed and poor people and will continue to do so."

Additional Superintendent of Police (Administration and Finance) Suman Deb, Additional Superintendent of Police (Crime and Ops) Adibul Islam, Additional Superintendent of Police (DSB) Yasina Ferdous, Additional Superintendent of Police (Sadar Circle) Thandar Khairul Hasan PPM-Seba, Additional Superintendent of Police (Sreenagar Circle) Tofail Ahmed Sarkar, Assistant Superintendent of Police (Sirajdikhan Circle) Mostafizur Rahman Rifat, Munshiganj Press Club president Shahid-e-Hasan Tuhin and others.

Children expressed their joy after receiving Eid gifts at the programme. At that time, Punak President said, "Such arrangements have been made to inspire children from humanistic thoughts. Reaching out to the orphans and young children present on this occasion has opened up a new field of work for us.”

Other members of Police Women's Welfare Association (PUNAK), Munshiganj were present at the time.
