Public transport and long-distance buses are returning to their previous fares from today by withdrawing the 60 percent increase in fares increased during the coronavirus period. As a result, passengers do not have to pay extra fare. At the same time, the obligation to leave 50 percent seats vacant is also being lifted.
The government has decided to withdraw the extra fare on transport passengers and resuming normal transportation in each seat as per normal rules. However, public transport passengers, drivers, supervisors, driver’s assistants, ticket sellers and all concerned must use masks. Adequate soapy water or hand sanitizer should be provided.
No passengers can be transported in excess of the number of seats. In other words, the more seats, the more passenger transport policy will be effective. Passengers cannot be transported while standing. At the beginning and end of each trip the vehicle is to be disinfected.
