A press release issued by BPSC stated BPSC Chairman Dr. Muhammad Sadique participated in the discussion as the chief guest. Dr. Muhammad Sadique said, "Bangladesh would not have been independent if Bangabandhu had not been born".

BPSC Secretary Asiya Khatun presided over the discussion meeting, organized following hygiene rules to ensure social distance.

The members of the commission participated in the virtual discussion while senior officers and employees of the commission were also present.

At the beginning of the program, a minute's silence was observed to pay homage to the memory of those who were martyred on August 15, 1975.
