Various health protection equipments and accessories have been given to the 12 Upazila Government Health Complexes and Tangail 250-bed General Hospital at Tangail. The safety equipment was distributed on Tuesday noon (September 14) in the meeting room of the Civil Surgeon with the initiative of BURO Bangladesh.
Health protection items were provided to 10 upazilas with the financial assistance of Tk 10 lakh from Commercial Bank of Ceylon and Tangail General Hospital, Tangail Sadar and Upazila Health Complex have been provided the support with the funding of BURO Bangladesh.
Healh & medical safety equipment include refrigerator, generator, ECG machine, syringe pump, digital infrared, thermometer, pulse oximeter, oxygen phase meter, KN-95 mask, face shield and hand sanitizer.
Rahela Zakir, Director of Tangail BURO Health Care Foundation, Dr. Abul Fazal Sababuddin Tangail (Civil Surgeon, Tangail District. While distributing health care materials, Dr. Khandaker Sadiqur Rahman (Assistant Director of Tangail General Hospital), Prof. Dr. Mohammad Ali Khan (Director of Sheikh Hasina Medical College Hospital), SM Sirajul Haque Alamgir (Mayor of Tangail Municipality), Sakir Khasru (AGM, & Head of Personal Banking, Commercial Bank of Ceylon), Miss Urmi Irani Khan (Development & Deposit Mobilization, Commercial Bank of Ceylon) and people and health officials from different upazilas were also present on this occasion.
