A press conference was held in Gopalganj on Wednesday morning to protest social media propaganda against Nazrul Islam Hira, Assistant Registrar of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman University of Science and Technology (BSMRUST), regarding recent theft of computers at the university.
The press conference was organized by the members of the Student Parliament including former VP, GS, AGS of Gopalganj Govt. Bangabandhu College at the conference room of the college. Former VP of the college and Gopalganj Municipal Councilor Atiqur Rahman Pitu read out a written statement in front of the media at the time.
At that time, the former VP of Bangabandhu College SM Mahmud, Gazi Sihab Uddin, Alimuzzaman Alim, Nazrul Islam Hira and others were present at the time following hygiene rules. Md. Nazrul Islam Hira, Assistant Registrar of BSMRUST said, a group of the university is carrying out propaganda to direct the matter to a different path which he strongly condemn and protest.
