Prof. Dr. Md. Ismail Khan has been appointed as the Vice Chancellor (VC) of Chittagong Medical University for the second term with the approval of the President and Chancellor.
He was re-appointed for four years in a circular signed by Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare Mohammad Abdul Quader on Monday.
Earlier, Prof. Dr. Md. Ismail Khan was appointed as the first Vice Chancellor of Chittagong Medical Universityon April 10, 2017. He has served as the Principal of Dhaka Medical College (DMC) and Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Dhaka University. Professor Dr. Md. Ismail Khan's house is in Mirsarai, Chittagong. He passed MBBS from Chittagong Medical College.
Introduced skills in the workplace as a professor of pharmacology. He is a Post Graduate in Medical Education and Pharmacology from the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia.
