Funeral prayers of Abdul Hai, younger brother of the President was held on Sunday (July 19) 3 pm at the Muktijoddha Abdul Haque Government College ground under Mithamoin upazila of Kishoreganj, the self-built institution of President Md. Abdul Hamid's younger brother and Assistant Private Secretary, Freedom Fighter Abdul Hai.
Later, he was buried next to his parents' grave at the family graveyard in Kamalpur village of Mithamin upazila. President Md. Abdul Hamid attended the Janaza and burial of his younger brother, heroic Freedom Fighter Abdul Hai.
