At the beginning of the New Year, Bandarban Shishu Academy distributed educational materials among the students on Monday morning at the Bangabandhu Mukti Manch, Bandarban. The educational materials were distributed at the initiative of Bandarban District Administration and Bandarban Office of Bangladesh Shishu Academy.
The organisers handed over the new books to 140 students of Child Development and Pre-Primary Center of Bandarban. Earlier, a view exchange meeting with parents was held there. Bandarban Press Club President Monirul Islam Manu presided over the event while, while Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Md. Shamim Hossain attended as chief guest. Shiliditya Mutsuddi, Child Affairs Officer of Bandarban Shishu Academy, along with Aruna Rani Sarkar, teacher of Child Development Center, were present as special guests.
ADC Md. Shamim Hossain said today's children are the future of tomorrow. Each of our parents needs to be especially careful about the children. At the beginning of their educational life, children must receive good guidance.
He also said that the present AL government is an education-friendly government, and the education system is undergoing a major development during this government and students are getting free books at the beginning of the year.
